The Pitfalls of Chasing Success:
Chasing after success can have its problems. When we make success our main goal, we become obsessed with achieving things that others can see. We want to make a certain amount of money, be known by many people, or have lots of things. I'm not saying these things are bad, but they have a downside. They often make us feel like we're not enough and always wanting more. This can lead to feeling tired, disappointed, and like we're not good enough.
The Power of Striving for Significance:
On the other hand, when we strive for significance, success usually comes along naturally. When we focus on adding value and making a difference in the lives of others, we build strong relationships, earn respect, and attract good opportunities.
One of the great things about striving for significance is that it lets us find happiness and fulfilment in the little things of everyday life.
How can you find a balance between striving for significance and achieving personal goals?
