Selective Listening: Filtering Advice and Opinions from the Right Sources
Don't worry about what people think, especially if you've never even met them. We tend to focus too much on one negative comment and forget about all the positive ones we receive. Remember why you started and the value you bring, that's what matters.

If someone gives their opinion or advice about what you're doing or thinking of doing, ask yourself if they have experience in that area, if they're respected in that field, and if they genuinely mean well. If not, just ignore their input.
Don't take relationship advice from people in bad relationships, and don't listen to business advice from those who haven't succeeded in business themselves.
Make a list of people you truly respect in different areas of life, and consider their opinions while disregarding others.
