Proximity is Power: How the Right People Helped Me Achieve My Half Marathon Goal
Proximity is Power.
I've said it many times, and I truly believe in it.
On February 2nd, I completed a half marathon in 2 hours and 15 minutes - something I once thought was beyond my reach. It became possible because of my running buddies Dr. Vignan & Dr. Ajay.
Two years ago, a friend of mine achieved this feat. When I learned about it, I was in awe and wanted to do the same. I reached out to him for guidance, only to find out that his intense training had led to an injury. Some friends even suggested that we had crossed our prime and that it was no longer possible.
But then, I remembered a valuable lesson from Amit Jain:
"If you're unsure or want to accelerate your learning, find the best coach.”
Thanks to Mahesh Perla, I found an exceptional coach - Dr. Vignan. He corrected my mistakes and structured a plan that made my goal achievable.
Thanks to my running buddies Dr. Vignan & Dr. Ajay. I wouldn’t have done it if I hadn’t trained with them. Their support, knowledge and motivation made all the difference.
🚀 If you want to achieve something great, surround yourself with those who have done it or those who working towards it. The right environment can make the impossible, possible.
The real fun begins when I challenge myself with something uncomfortable and a little scary. Time to go for a sub-2-hour half marathon! 🚀
