How to start if you feel like you have too many things to do?

Do you often feel like you have too many things to do and don't know where to start?
Don’t worry you are not alone. As a coach, I have seen many of my team members and coaching clients struggle with time management. To help them overcome this challenge, I share three simple techniques that have proved to be very effective.
1. Create a to-do list for your day either the night before or in the morning.
This will help you stay focused and on track throughout the day. If we don’t plan the day then the tasks which come randomly decide our day.
2. Eat that frog:
You might have heard this before. There is a great book about this also. What it means is to do the biggest task which takes you towards your goal from your to-do list in the morning.
3. Set a timer to help you focus on the task you are doing and not get distracted.
There is a great technique called the Pomodoro technique. We can concentrate on a task well for 25 minutes. Set a timer and concentrate on the task in between you get something else in mind then just write it in the notepad so that after the task you can look into it.
