Counting My Blessings: The Amazing People in My Life
Last Sunday, I ran a half marathon in Chennai. It made me realize how lucky I am to have such great friends & family. A friend told me about a timed run in Chennai, which I need to do before the marathon in August. I'm thankful to Mahesh for letting me know about the event and to Ganesh for making us feel welcome and joining us for the run.

I met Mahesh and Ganesh through my friend Divakar, who, along with Dinesh, are pillars of my friend circle. I feel very lucky to have such wonderful friends.
My loving wife, Bindu, and my wonderful parents supported me a lot during this journey. Bindu not only ensured I had a great time but also ran with me. My parents always took care of everything at home and with the kids, so I could do these activities.
When I look back at all of this, I feel really fortunate. I'm not boasting, just acknowledging that even though I'm an introverted person, I have created an amazing life. Having supportive parents was a gift from God, but the choice to have Bindu, Dinesh and Divakar in my life was my own. Everything else in my life has come from those important choices and actions I take to be a good husband and friend to deserve their love and friendship.
Reflecting on my journey, I hope this serves as a reminder for you to appreciate the extraordinary people who have shaped your own life.
