Comparison is the thief of all joys
we constantly compare ourselves to others and we end up feeling unhappy and dissatisfied with our own lives. This is because we often focus on what we don't have, rather than appreciating what we do have.

For example, let's say you're scrolling through your social media feed and you see that your friend just bought a new car. You start to compare your own car to theirs and suddenly you feel unhappy with what you have. This comparison has robbed you of the joy you once had for your own car.
Many people compare their salary with their friends and colleagues, especially in the workplace due to that when they find out that one of their colleagues is earning more than them for doing similar work. They start to feel undervalued and resentful towards their employer, even if they were previously satisfied with their salary. This comparison can rob them of their joy.
If you're constantly comparing your relationship to that of your friends or family members, you may start to feel like your relationship is inadequate. This can lead to unnecessary arguments and tension in your relationship, ultimately robbing you of the joy you once had for your partner.
By constantly comparing ourselves to others, we rob ourselves of the happiness that we could otherwise experience. By focusing on our own journey and celebrating our own successes, we can cultivate a sense of joy and fulfilment in our lives.
