1% Discomfort, 100% Fulfillment: My Marathon Running Story
A few years ago, when I began my running journey, I remember having a conversation with Ajay and Rahul Yadav. I told them about my new running routine, but they didn't believe me. In a light-hearted manner, Rahul suggested a challenge: we should race from the CarDekho office in Jagatpura to the traffic light at Malviya Nagar SEZ. At that moment, I knew I couldn't cover the approximately 2km distance.

Fast forward to yesterday, when I completed my first marathon. It made me reflect on various moments, including that challenge. It took me around 5 years to achieve this feat. If I had focused solely on this goal, maybe I could have done it in 1 or 2 years. However, I wouldn't change a thing because I cherished every step of the journey.
I gradually embraced a little discomfort, avoiding extreme pushes while staying away from my comfort zone. Along the way, I crossed paths with many individuals, and my wife even joined me in my running pursuits. Together, we dedicated our weekends to running and conquered several half-marathons.
Remember, you don't need to overhaul your life in one day. Introduce just 1% of discomfort and relish the journey. You'll be astonished by the distance you've covered when you glance back after a while.
